This vacancy presents a brilliant opportunity for an experienced HSE Advisor to join a forward-thinking organisation who want to take safety to the next level, and are offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Our client is a multiple award-winning Automotive Manufacturer who are at the forefront of Electric Vehicle technology and dedicated to a sustainable future

You will be joining the business at an exciting time and will continue to drive HSE strategy forward.

As a key member of the team, you will have a flexible, positive attitude and the ability to work well in a workshop environment. We are seeking a clear communicator with a friendly and approachable style and the technical skills, experience and attitudeto support colleagues and share knowledge and expertise with a desire to change and continuously improve the safety culture across the business.

Supporting the HSE Manager, you will further improve sites that are already doing some fantastic things with the ability to encourage colleagues to be more proactive and help raise the bar.

Initially, there will be a requirement to assist with the review of operational procedures, policies and Safe Systems of Work and any other supporting documents, ensuring they are adequate and fit for purpose, ensuring your day-to-day role is challenging,fast paced and rewarding.

**HSE Advisor Key Duties**:

Support the HSE Manager and deputise in their absence
Chair Health and Safety meetings making sure it is prioritised across all projects.
Ensure incidents are investigated, recorded and reported, identifying and recommending improved practices to reduce accidents
Assist in all key aspects of Health and Safety such as compliance and quality assurance as well as working with external bodies to review Fire Risk Assessments, HAVS, Noise and Air Quality reports.
Travel to other sites as required

**HSE Advisor Skills & Experience Required**:

NEBOSH Certificate - Essential
COSHH experience with a good understanding of SDS and Risk Assessment completion
- Experience with carrying out PUWER assessments.
General work Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work, considering and proposing safety critical improvements.
Good communicator with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
Able to influence positive change.
Experience in a similar environment would be advantageous

This position could be an excellent opportunity for someone who is an experienced HSE professional perhaps in an advisor, officer, or coordinator capacity, and is ready to take on a more senior advisor position.
