The business operates across The Stables Restaurant, The Gardeners Cottage Tearoom and Corporate Buffets to the Mansion House. The Gardeners Cottage was previously awarded the prestigious title at the "Cheshire Life Food and Drink Awards 2017, for the Best Tearoom/ Café of the Year. Known for serving excellent Afternoon Tea. This includes Tatton Park Estate reared and grown produce including Venison, Pork, Rare Breed Lamb and Beef with Seasonal Fruits and Vegetables from the historic Walled Kitchen Garden. It's a great place to work and in a stunning environment, you can feel the history and get to enjoy the opportunity to pop out for a walk on your break or before/after your shift. **Days of Work**:The working week will be a mix of weekdays and weekends 5 out of 7 days. Your main days of work will be dictated by the needs of the business, our core business is within the Stables Restaurant and our most busy days are Bank Holidays and Friday through till Sunday. Plus we provide weekly buffet lunches for our corporate visitors within the mansion or selected Afternoon Tea dates in the Gardener's Cottage throughout the year as this is currently a seasonal operation. Tatton Park is closed on Monday's throughout Low Season, you will be required to work your share of Bank Holidays throughout the year. **Hours of Work**:Our trading day is 10am until 4pm meaning start times are usually 8.30-9am until 5-6pm at the latest over the weekends as a guide. **Role Purpose Statement**: To assist in the smooth running of Front of House in the Stables and Gardeners Cottage. To deliver 5 star customer service and continually drive for perfection and high levels of customer satisfaction. **Main Accountabilities**: - Department Budgets to deliver both food and staffing to the budgeted levels as required. - Assist the Restaurant Manager and Catering Operations Manager in maintaining stock levels of all produce and standards of training and customer service. - Resource Planning / People Management / Team Delegation. - Arrive on duty and use signing in procedures in accordance with the roster and standards of appearance as set out in the employee handbook. - Review rota on daily basis and make informed decisions with regards absence and staffing ensure communication to all parties required. - Maintain high levels of personal hygiene and appearance as well as managing team. - Follow the instructions of the Restaurant Manager and the Catering Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Front of House and maintain levels of discipline at all times. - Create a team spirit within the supervisors and work with others both Front of House and Back of House to deliver a team spirit second to none. - Follow instructions, guidance and the law in maintaining daily written records with regards health and safety and food safety. **Service Delivery / Operations**: - Ensure breaks are planned and executed to ensure minimum disruption to the customer experience. - Maintain daily cleanliness in all Front of house areas including all equipment and storage areas both hard standing and free standing. - All tables are as required to seating plan and clearing stations are set up with required equipment ready for the day for the seasonal Gardener's Cottage and the Stables restaurant. - All cashing up procedures are carried out both morning and evening to required standards. - All Food Safety and Health and safety procedures are carried out on a daily basis and as frequently as required throughout the day. - Generate consistent approach with customer service and develop and train all staff to deliver an exceptional positive experience for every customer. - Report and follow process for all equipment failure and maintenance. **Service Quality**: - Ensure all service areas ar
