Operational Resilience Manager

In this role you'll be directly involved with enhancing our resilience capability and helping foster a resilient culture across the region. Working within our Business Services Division's global Resilience Team and with innovative software platforms, you'llplay a pivotal role in the Operational Resilience center of excellence we're building.
We operate in a flat structure. Members of the team are encouraged to take ownership and accountability for their work, collaborating with management to identify new opportunities. So you'll have the experience and gravitas to constructively challenge resiliencecapability with a customer-focused lens, and become a trusted partner to our entrepreneurial business stakeholders. You can expect to lead or strongly support in all of the following areas:
- Display emotional intelligence to focus stakeholder attention among competing priorities
- Custody, maintenance and enhancement of Operational Resilience self-assessments and the underlying data that supports them
- Coordination for design and execution of diverse testing against severe and plausible scenarios required by UK Operational Resilience regulation; curation of a scenario library
- Ensuring the accuracy of Important Business Service mapping data through periodic validation and participation in appropriate Change groups
- Acting as a Key Contributor in the mitigation of resilience aspects of Intra Group/Material Outsourcing/Third Party Risk
- Compiling metrics reports from diverse data sources to identify and communicate enhancement opportunities in the treatment of resilience risk
- Monitor, contribute to and occasionally manage resilience-related projects initiated by recommendation of the Business Resilience team
- Lead operational resilience working groups and facilitate management committees
- Create and deliver operational resilience training for business stakeholders
- Contribute to operational resilience framework
To excel in this role, you'll be confident that you have:
- Deep understanding of UK Operational Resilience regulation
- Experience utilising complex data from diverse sources to tell compelling, accessible, and accurate stories
- Experience with, and confidence in, working and presenting at all levels of the business
Ideally, you'll also be keen to tell us about your significant experience in some of the following areas:
- First line delivery of UK Operational Resilience regulatory requirements within a regulated financial services environment
- Coordinating the design and execution of diverse testing against severe and plausible scenarios as required by UK Operational Resilience regulation
- Challenge, creation or maintenance/validation of IBS dependency mapping as required by UK Operational Resilience regulation
- Crisis or Incident Management, Business Continuity, Operational Risk, Technology Recovery or Information Security
- Delivering the third party/outsourcing assurance documentation as required by UK Operational Resilience regulation
It would also be a bonus if you have:
- Experience using Fusion Framework or Salesforce
- Experience of working closely with Risk and Compliance functions to deliver regulatory requirements
- One or more of BCI, DRI, CISM or CISSP accreditation (or similar)
- Change/transformation program implementation experience
- Experience of navigating a complex matrix management environment
