Operational Resilience Manager

**Through further targeted growth, this leading Wealth Management practice are seeking an Operational Resilience Manager to join their Operations team in London (Hybrid/ Remote Working).**

**The Role**

**They are seeking to hire an experienced Operational Resilience Manager to join their expanding London Office.**

This position is working in synergy with the other Compliance, Risk and Compliance specialists reporting to the Group Operations team. The existing team is close-knit, with a wealth of experience from Investment, Banking, Asset Management and IFA practices
- so they are open to hearing from Operational Resilience professionals from a variety of.

They have created a visionary growth plan for the Investment & Wealth Management Team and for this reason, they are seeking high calibre, individuals to strengthen their internal Risk & Resilience team.

They are already considered one of the “go-to” practices both regionally and across the UK; leveraging off their excellent reputation to work with well-known businesses and HWNI/ UHNWI.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, delivery and management of the Operational Resilience framework
- Design & implementation of outsourcing / third party risk management framework, meanwhile ensuring it is consistent with the group operational resilience framework
- Identification of important business services, impact assessments, tolerance setting, process management, outsourcing frameworks and business continuity processes
- Meeting with stakeholders to ensure understanding of their resilience risk and have controls and processes
- Support the production of annual self-assessments of resilience controls performed within the allocated business services
- Report and present to the board in respect of operational resilience / Business Continuity Processes
- Engage with the risk management function on the identification, monitoring, managing and reporting of emerging risks / environment scanning that can affect the firms operational resilience
- Understanding of Risk Management, Business Continuity, Operational Resilience and the step-up from Business Continuity practices

**Experience**
- Proven experience of working in Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Processes, third party risk management or change management capacity
- Background from Financial Services essential
- Wealth Management, Investment & Asset Management or Banking encouraged to apply
- Demonstrate knowledge of industry standards and best practices in resilience disciplines, including supplier resilience
- Understanding of FCA, PRA and Bank of England building the UK Financial Sectors Operational Resilience papers and associated guidance
