**Salary**: Up to £60,000 depending on experience

Could you be our new Head of Platform Communications & Battlefield Networks?

**The Opportunity**:
In this dual-role, you'll not only be our Design Authority, but also a Functional Manager (currently seven engineers), actively delivering Platform Data Link Sub-Systems to projects. Your leadership will guide our new group, Battlefield Networks, that brings its network communications expertise and system engineering skills to vital projects in the Land Domain.

As the Design Authority for the Land Ceptor Platform Data Link Terminal (PDLT) Sub-System, your vision will guide its in-service support, export and product evolution / road mapping. Simultaneously, you'll extend your support to the Sea Ceptor project through your dedicated team members.

Your influence will extend to future systems, including Land Precision Strike, research, and export programmes and covers the whole of the project cycle from definition, design and development through to qualification, certification and in service technical support of the Sub-Systems for UK and export customers.

- Strong Systems Engineering professional
- The full V&V lifecycle
