Team Leader

As we continue to expand, we're excited to open our doors for a Team Leader to join our Spennymoor team

The Team Leader will lead the daily plant operation by being physically on the floor and leading by example. The primary goal is to properly organize staff members and achieve a reasonable workflow throughout the day. This position will also support the Plant Supervisor in directing, performance managing, training, and assisting employees on your shift.

**What will your role involve?**:

- Accurate Management of inventory inc contingency stock
- Perform Daily audits to schedule; including housekeeping & health and safety checks
- Complete site logs as per business requirements
- Review processing numbers and identify machine challenges with engineering and plant management
- Lead daily team huddle including business updates, daily manning & key figures
- Monitor non-compliances & complete report
- Pre & post operational checks
- Daily monitoring and reporting of team performance
- Monitoring and secondary check of lock off of critical equipment
- Perform compliance routine checks and report on outcomes

**What are we looking for?**:

- Leadership experience (or relatable experience)
- Experience of working within a technical environment is desirable
- Proven experience in improving processes and procedures.
- Works well with others and can motivate people you work with.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal with record-keeping discipline
- Ability to work weekends, holidays or flex hours as needed by production demands
