**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Accurately dispense medications according to prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide medication administration guidance to patients, including dosage instructions and potential side effects.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering and restocking medications as necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient care and medication management.
- Address patient inquiries regarding medications, providing clear and informative responses.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

**Skills**
- Follow correct procedures for labelling and dispensing in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Strong background in patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members alike.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for managing prescriptions and inventory is an advantage.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of pharmacy issues for the purpose of continuing professional development

Pay: £11.44-£12.54 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
