Robertson Bell is pleased to be partnering with a public sector organisation, based in South Yorkshire, who are seeking a Head of Finance to join their team on a permanent basis. Offering significant scope for progression and the chance to lead a highlycapable team, this role will lead the finance team to ensure the production of various financial reports accurately and timely, whilst providing robust financial management to various stakeholders.

**The main responsibilities of the Head of Finance include**:

- Lead, manage, and motivate the financial services team, holding regular one to one’s and providing training and mentoring where required.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the annual budget, and medium financial plans, for the organisation, as well as providing clear and concise financial advice to budget holders throughout the organisation.
- Oversee the accurate and timely production of the statement of accounts.
- Provide hands-on assistance to the finance team in the day to day running of finance activities and reporting.

- Fully qualified in a CCAB qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA or equivalent).
