**Job Summary**:
My client is the mobility service provider of the**German Armed Forces** and the German Bundestag and provides a unique portfolio of vehicles, driving performance and mobility-related services around the world. They are now looking for motivatedand committed **Procurement Manager** who wants to support and be part of a great mission and actively participate in forward-looking topics to ensure the continuous development of the company.

You will be joining one of the l**argest public fleet companies in Germany,** a company with more than**1,400 employees and more than 35,000 vehicles of various types.**

**Requirements**:
You must have Technical or Business Academic background, professional experience in strategic purchasing and you speak both German and English.

**What YOU need**:

- A degree with a business or technical focus
- Professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in category management
- Advanced knowledge of public procurement law
- Strong communication skills, distinct analytical abilities and a high affinity for numbers
- We expect you to be proficient in MS Office, in particular excellent Excel skills and SAP R/3
- You speak German, business fluent English and if necessary another foreign language.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- You document relevant processes in strategic purchasing in a legally compliant manner
- You will act as a proactive contact person for internal interfaces, in particular with regard to rights and obligations arising from existing contractual relationships with our suppliers
- You will be intensively involved in the preparation and execution of tenders by supporting us in the execution of demand analyses, market analyses, development of procurement strategies
- Preparation of tender documents
- Supporting or taking responsibility for tenders within the framework of the requirements of public procurement law
- You will contribute to the improvement of the economic efficiency of our vehicle fleet
