**Purchase Ledger Clerk**

Location: Bristol, BS5

**Salary**: 24,740 per annum (pro-rated)

Hours: 32 hours per week

Contract: FTC 3 months

Were looking for a proactive **Purchase Ledger Clerk** to join our Finance team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. Youll play a key role in keeping our purchase ledger accurate and up to date while working with colleagues and suppliers to resolve queries.

**What youll be doing**
- Processing invoices accurately into our DMS system
- Acting as the first point of contact for purchase ledger queries
- Reconciling supplier statements and requesting missing invoices
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies with budget holders
- Processing employee expenses
- Completing monthly and year-end reconciliations
- Sending remittance advices to suppliers
- Managing admin tasks including filing invoices, credit notes, and BACS documentation

**What were looking for**
- GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
- Previous purchase ledger/accounts payable experience
- Knowledge of invoice processing and reconciliations
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Problem-solving mindset with initiative
- Organised and efficient with time management skills
- Self-starter who thrives on challenges
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
