**Primary School Classroom Assistant - Feltham**
We have a fantastic opportunity to join a Pubil Referral Unit (PRU) School in Feltham as a Primary School Classoom Assistant. The role as a Primary School Classroom Assistant is a fulltime position from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm.
Experience working as a Primary School Classroom Assistant would be ideal but you must have experience working with children in some form of capacity and be willing to support children with multiple special needs
**The School**:
- The PRU school values working together, creating positive relationships and takes into account the social, and emotional context of their learners
- The curriculum is personalised and engages, supports and challenges the pupils to make excellent progress socially, emotionally and academically
- The PRU school develops pupils through communication strategies to instil a sense of tolerance and understanding towards others
- The PRU schools help prepare pupils for mainstream school and / or the next step in their educational journey
- The school makes makes provision for the literacy, numeracy, communication and emotional difficulties the pupils are managing
**The Role**:
- Promote inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities
- Use effective behaviour management strategies consistently in line with the school's policy and procedures
- Communicate effectively and sensitively with pupils to adapt to their needs and support their learning as a Primary School Classroom Assistant
- Maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment by organising and managing physical teaching space and resources
- Create a stimulating environment and motivate pupils with their learning
**Requirements**:
- **AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY**:
- Able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4pm
- Good communication skills is essential to communicate effectively with the pupils and teachers as a Primary School Classroom Assistant
- The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and remain calm under pressure as a Primary School Classroom Assistant
- As a Primary School Classroom Assistant you will need a good understanding for building positive relationships with children
