**What is the opportunity?**:
A chance to work within a team helping to define regulatory requirements and metrics to manage Financial Crime and AML risk for Bank Of Ireland UK.

You willbe a key support inour strategic growth plans and the continued focus on existing and emerging AML risks acrossour product range.

**In this role you will**:

- Initial focus will be on Northridge/Marshall business to support the migration and embedding of the Northridge/Marshall AML activity into the UK Financial Crime Operations.
- Ensure Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) requirements are fully met for all BOIUK products.
- Review and interpret customer data in a timely manner and make recommendations on EDD cases to the Financial Crime & AML Risk Manager.
- Ensure all referrals received through for screening are assessed in line with Bank policy and taken care of in a timely and efficient manner.

There are no specific qualifications or minimum educational requirements needed for this role.

**What will make you stand out?**:
We are looking for a self-starter who is used to working autonomously with minimum supervision who cancommunicate with all levels of the organisation, effectively make decisions and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Practical experience of Financial Crime risks, controls and issues within financial services or consumer banking is a must

The Financial Crime & AML Specialist role is part of 1st line of defence within the Operations Director Governance & Risk team.
