**Job Description**:
We are seeking a flexible, adaptable individual with experience in the care sector to join our office team of five. We are a small but growing home care company and the right person will be one who ideally understands the business of domiciliary care.
**What we offer**:
Starting salary range - £21,500 to £24,000 per year dependent on experience and knowledge.
Working hours 9:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday (30 minutes lunch break).
Holiday - 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year (inclusive of Bank Holidays)

We are looking for an empathetic, organised individual to join our existing care management team to perform a wide variety of administrative tasks, in a timely manner, to support the smooth running of the office. You will need to have excellent communication skills, be flexible in your approach, coordinate office activities effectively and efficiently in order to provide the highest quality service to our clients.
The Role
Responsible for all aspects of office administration activities whilst being reactive to the needs of the business.
Warmly greet visitors to the office; answer phone calls in a polite professional manner, recording messages accurately and passing on clear messages where appropriate.
Maintain effective systems including our Care Planning and scheduling systems ensuring that all filing and databases are kept up to date.
Coordinate holidays for the office team and Care Professionals.
Responsible for coordinating the on-call rota and handover.
Coordinate Care Professional retention activities such as newsletters, Care Professional of the month.
Support projects and IT initiatives where appropriate.
Ensure compliance with Home Instead’s Policies, in respect of employment and service delivery.
To undertake any support or admin duties as required by the Franchise Owner, Registered Manager and Operations Manager and carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.
Be flexible to meet the demands of the business including participating in the on-call rota, which may require you to support team members in emergency situations outside of office hours.(On call attracts additional payment).
Networking in the local community and supporting marketing activities.
Care Plan completion and updating.
Care scheduling
Frequent use of Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook etc
To participate in team meetings, performance reviews and take minutes and distribute as required.
Stock audit the office and PPE supplies and make sure it is in accordance with office and Care Professional needs.
**Qualifications**:
Competent using MS Office with the aptitude to learn new software & systems.
Proven experience in office administration within a busy office environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
Self-motivated and able to work flexibly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
Strong team player with the confidence to work alone.
