**About the role**:
Finance transformation covers strategic initiatives aimed at re-envisioning the finance function to align with the overall company strategy. Finance transformation may consist of restructuring and implementation of the finance operating model; accounting and finance processes; financial capabilities; and re-platforming of finance and accounting systems.

Working closely with the finance and tech teams, the Finance Transformation Lead will drive process and system improvements that will enable the finance team to evolve and improve in terms of compliance, efficiency, accuracy, and generation of insight.

**A day in the life...**
- Deliver solutions to improve ability to meet reporting obligations and empower staff to make better business decisions
- Deliver, plan, implement and embed finance change deliverables globally
- Develop a global finance systems strategy, including stock replacement and value for money prioritisation on finance investments
- Ensure resources are managed effectively and that knowledge transfer is effective to BAU
- Lead initiatives and projects to ensure effective delivery of finance transformation globally
- Support troubleshooting to support BAU
- Standardization and streamlining process across the finance team
- Provide commercial insight, financial expertise, simplification and standardisation of systems and processes globally

**Hot skills...**
- Qualified accountant with 5 years + post qualified experience, gained within Hospitality, Retail or FMCG sectors
- Senior experience in both core finance and commercial finance, with a naturally curious nature and desire to problem solve
- Proven expertise in finance change and transformation essential
- Strong analytical skills - skilled at taking large amounts of data and sharing insight from this with operators and making the complicated simple
- Passionate about helping to understand ‘why’, with analytical expertise, across large/multiple data sets.
- Have a natural written and verbal presenting style that brings stories to life with confidence and assurance that influences others *_Excellence in MS Powerpoint helpful here_
- Naturally calm under pressure, able to distinguish the _critical_ from the _chaos_
- Open-minded & collaborative, with sound judgment and a creative edge
- Able to manage own time and operate without close supervision
