**Job Overview**:
**Are you a woodwind player (Clarinet and / or Sax) with a passion for musical instruments?**
This is an exciting opportunity to launch or develop a marketing career within the musical instrument industry by joining Barnes & Mullins, one of the UK’s premier musical instrument distributors.

Experience with platforms such as Photoshop, InDesign, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube is advantageous but not essential, as comprehensive training and guidance will be provided.
- and will bring enthusiasm for promoting these instruments alongside our wider product range, including contemporary instruments.

This role will also involve attending and exhibiting our products at woodwind and orchestral instrument events, providing hands-on marketing support at trade shows, retailer events, and educational workshops. Some events will be over a weekend.

Day to day tasks will be varied but with an emphasis on supporting the Marketing Manager with marketing department administration tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Marketing Manager with general marketing activities and administration.
- Attend and represent the company at woodwind and orchestral instrument events, trade shows, and workshops, sometimes at weekends.
- Assist in online merchandising and product promotions.
- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns.
- Create and administer content for digital and social media platforms.
- Work with photography, graphic design, and video editing tools.
- Engage with brand endorsees, educators, and industry professionals to promote our product range.
- **A woodwind musician (desirable but not essential)**eager to launch or develop their marketing career in the exciting musical instrument industry.
- Creative and detail oriented.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Adobe software (Photoshop, InDesign) and social media platforms (desirable but not essential as training will be provided).
- Some experience in marketing, digital content creation, or social media (desirable but not essential as training will be provided).

**Job Details**:

- **Full-time position** - Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm
- **Location**: Oswestry, Shropshire (based **on site**, at our HQ).

**Salary: Competitive**
- Expected hours: Full time. 37.5 per week.
