Within an established, well regarded and dynamic Finance team, the post is responsible for providing an efficient and effective cash handling and credit control service to the Force. The Cashier gives clear information and advice to operational officers and staff on the collection, storage and banking on cash seized as evidence. Working closely with finance colleagues, the Cashier is also the first line of financial control for transaction processing of cash, all aspects of banking and cheque payments, and credit control, and implements improvements to those systems/processes.

The vacancy is advertised as a permanent role within the Financial Accounts function, working alongside other Support Accountants and Accounts Payable Team within the wider Finance Department.
