Within an established, well regarded and dynamic Finance team, the post is part of a tight knit group providing an efficient and effective Payments function so that the Police & Crime Commissioner and Force are making the best use of resources.

Working closely with colleagues, the Payments Assistant ensures the timely and accurate input of invoices to the Accounts Payable system and resolves queries with suppliers. They support the whole payment process, engage with Procurement Department colleagues, and provide essential support to the Cashier in their duties.

The vacancy is advertised as a permanent part time role within the Payments & Reporting function, working alongside other Payments Assistants and supporting the wider Finance team.
