**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Carry out groundwork tasks including excavation, drainage, and laying foundations.
- Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively as required.
- Assist in the installation of utilities such as water, gas, and electricity.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.
- Follow instructions from senior staff and contribute to team efforts.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in groundworks or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to operate basic construction machinery (e.g., diggers, dumpers) is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
- Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transportation purposes.

Pay: £12.21-£18.32 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
