Communications Business Partner

To support our organisation tell the story of how we are supporting people into employment, we are looking for a Communications Business Partner to lead and manage our communications support for GC Employment services.

In this role, you will lead on the development of a PR and communications strategy to raise the profile and positioning of GC Employment as a leading deliverer of people, business and place-based growth.

The role covers all aspects of communications include media relations, stakeholder communications, event management and campaign development, so we’re looking for an excellent all-rounder.

Supported by a Communications Manager, the role will focus on acting as a trusted advisor on developing communications plans, campaigns, and finding opportunities to help share our stories with key stakeholders.

**About you**:
You’ll have excellent writing skills with the ability to translate complex information into compelling content. You’ll have strong experience of working with journalists and other influencers, as well as being a great people manager with the ability to support and develop people.

This role involves developing and delivering campaigns so being able to plan and execute a communications strategy is essential, as is the ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders both internally and externally.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement communication plans using a range of channels and tactics to positively enhance the reputation of GC Employment and build and protect our brand.
- Manage day to day media relations for GC services, building relationships with journalists and other media contacts as well as partners in stakeholder communications teams.
- Act as a specialist advisor to, and build effective relationships with, the Senior Leadership Teams within GC Employment, ensuring key messages are consistent weaved through our activity spanning communications and wider marketing.
- Lead on high profile, service focused stakeholder events and provide additional support for wider event management across the Group.
- Create impactful, targeted multi-channel campaigns that reflect the diverse needs and communication preferences of our audiences including key stakeholders, clients, customers, and commissioners.
- Actively monitor analytics, customer feedback, insight and sentiment to improve communications outcomes.
- Coordinate and contribute to the editorial planning process.
- Play an active role in sharing best practice across the Marketing and Communications Department, actively taking part in learning and development to help build a culture of continuous improvement.

**Salary**: Up to £39,700.00 per year
