Reporting to the Ledger Team Manager duties will include:

- Ensuring purchase ledger transactions are processed in accordance with the accounting timetable.
- Carrying out month end accounting procedures efficiently and ensuring records are up to date.
- Managing and maintaining suppliers accounts.
- First point of contact for account queries ensuring they are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
- Managing supplier accruals.
- Processing high volumes of invoices/transactions ensuring all invoices are accurately input onto the system.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Processing invoices for payment.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.

This search is not limited to any industry. Previous purchase ledger experience within a high volume environment is key to this recruitment:

- You must be a self-starter with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Good IT skills are required including Excel at intermediate level.
- High level of numeracy and data inputting with meticulous attention to detail is required.
- Good written and verbal skills are essential.
- Fluency in a European language is desirable but not essential.
