**Job overview**:
We are pleased to be able to offer the exciting opportunity to be part of the developing health provision within the Norfolk Youth Justice Service (NYJS) as an Assistant Practitioner. This unique pathway within NYJS currently consists of Occupational Therapy and Psychology combined and is embedded within the wider NYJS service, allowing the post holder the opportunity to work alongside multiple professionals from different backgrounds and disciplines.

**Main duties of the job**:
The successful applicant will work as part of a team, supporting in health assessments, consultation to other staff and holding a small, supervised caseload of direct work with children within the service as appropriate. They will have regular support and supervision from colleagues and the opportunity to develop and enhance their clinical skills. This role is still fairly new and, as such, there will be the prospect for the post holder to help shape the role and experience wider service development first-hand.
