Sandringham Ward is excited to recruit a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner to join the team on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
As an Assistant Practitioner on Sandringham Ward you will have the opportunity to use and develop your knowledge and skills whilst supporting the patient through their admission journey. There will be good opportunity for further development around medication management and physical health.
We are a forward thinking and flexible team and we are looking to do things differently.
Sandringham Ward is an admission ward with the role to assess, treat and

The role would entail supporting the team in collaboratively assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care for those we are privileged to look after.
We are looking for energised individuals who will be excited to be part of something very special. We want creativity, innovative ideas and passion towards providing excellent patient care. If you want to make a difference in people’s lives and change it for the better, then we want you to be part of our fantastic team

This includes attending inpatient reviews, completing relevant documentation such as clinical notes and risk assessments and medication administration following completion of training and competency assessment. You would also be involved in change management projects such as quality improvement. You will support the Registered Nurses with the day to day activities and provide support to service users throughout their inpatient journey.
