**CONTEXT AND PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**

As a Polisher within the manufacturing team, you will be responsible for completing polishing and finishing operations within our manufacturing department to produce a wide range of components that are used in the production of our watches.
Precision, quality, and a high attention to detail are all key skills required for this role.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

− Operate equipment used to polish watch components to required company standards.

− Bright polish and satin polish various watch components.

− De-burr components.

− Degrease and clean all components.

− Package components to the company’s requirements.

− Operate all machinery effectively and safely.

− Maintain a clean working environment always.

− Developing existing manufacturing processes for existing components

− Responsible for maintaining production output & all associated production documentation

− Involvement in continuous improvement activities / lean processes

− Complete accurately all necessary material movement paperwork (i.e. Works
Orders, program changes)

− First off inspection

− Ability to perform fast set-ups / change overs

− Complete other tasks relevant to the role as assigned by the Manufacturing
Supervisor.

**KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**

− Polishing experience with prior background in the jewelry industry preferable.

− Precision Engineering background working with tight tolerances and must have the ability to maintain the highest quality standards at all times.

− Must be self-sufficient - able to manage workflow and priorities effectively and efficiently

− Read complex engineering drawings

− Excellent attention to detail

− Quality conscience

− Inspect finished components and ensure that they are correct to drawing and within the required specification

− Good awareness of HS&E (health, safety and environment) requirements

− Ability to use Microsoft office
- outlook, work and excel at a basic level
