Due to continual expansion within our company, we are looking for an additional experienced Hire Desk Controller to join our already experienced team.

**The responsibilities include**:
Using our in-house system to interactively take orders via, ensuring that availability is checked first.

Using your product knowledge, providing the customer with the best option for hire.

Dealing with customer enquiries in a professional and polite manner.

Ensuring the accuracy of all orders entered on to the system to minimise disputes and credit notes, ensuring all relevant paperwork is received by the customer.

Building strong and helpful relationships with colleagues in other departments/companies within the group.

Managing day books.

General administration.

Setting up customer contracts for hire/accounts.

Preparing Invoices.

Maintaining and exceeding depot targets.

Developing professional relationships with internal and external clients.

**Qualifications**:
Previous experience in a telephone-based customer service role.

An excellent telephone manner.

Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise deadlines.

Good knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel.

**Essential**:
Knowledge of Plant Hire Industry however, training will also be given on our products and services.

**Experience**:
**Hire Desk Controller Experience: One to Two years.**

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bellshill: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Hire Desk Controller: 2 years (preferred)
