To achieve this we are looking for a Global Head of Language Talent to help us develop and nurture our network of translators and vendors whilst ensuring we provide the best possible experience and ongoing collaboration with them and the best service we can for our customers.

To do that we need someone to help in taking care of our existing team of linguists, recruit new linguists to the team, build rapport with them and ensure our network is maintained and take a focus on the continuous development of our team.

**Description of the role**:
As the Global Head of Language Talent, you’ll:

- Recruit new linguists, translators, editors and copywriters to our ever growing team and network, onboard them as our valued team members to work together with our customer service team.
- Establish processes and practices to help and grow our network of highly qualified and engaged linguists, including webinars, training, sourcing and sharing resources
- Build and maintain relationships with our partner network to ensure that we have adequate resources when we need to extend our capabilities so that our customers can receive their orders in a timely manner.
- Ownership of the quality assurance process to ensure a high level of quality delivered to all of our customers. Working in collaboration with the customer team and feedback from our clients to take action and align where possible whilst managing risk.
- Regularly keep a pulse on the industry to ensure that we are maintaining best practices and staying up to date with average price changes and industry trends.
- Work closely with the Global Head of People Operations to act as the external face of our People team whilst they function as the internal. Working together to create best practices and processes, collaborate on recruitment, and share resources.
- Keep abreast of current guidelines, legislation, and regulations, as well as changes and trends in the field related to GDPR/data privacy, background screening programs, recruitment, employment law, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 17100:2015 and ISO 18587:2017 standards, sanction regulation, etc.
- Onboard new vendors, partners, and translators and provide clear guidelines and expectations to ensure the best experience and service.
- Collaborate with the customer service team as they manage localization projects from start to finish and develop processes and practices to streamline the formation of speciality teams for different projects and to ensure that the right linguists are assigned to the correct projects.
- Communicate proactively with the sales and customer service teams to ensure we have adequate resources for upcoming projects and create projections to ensure we maintain adequate capacity in alignment with our growth.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve our service based on customer and partner feedback
- Keep track of new and ongoing technology and trends in the translation and localization industries

**Requirements to be successful in this role**:

- Fluency in English is a must, additional languages are advantageous.
- 4+ years of experience in diverse Linguist Recruitment
- 2+ years of vendor management experience
- Experience in the localization and translation industry
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to take initiative
- Quality, localization team or project management experience is highly advantageous.
- Excellency in building rapport with partners, developing and maintaining long-term collaborative relationships, and a willingness to use those skills to show other team members the way
- A willingness to learn, to try, to improve, and always keep moving forward
