Production Planner

Torbay based business with a global reach seeks skilled Production Planner for new role in its growing organisation. Working in the Supply Chain team the role is responsible for supporting the planning and scheduling of production to achieve on time deliveryperformance targets. Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Ensure that all purchase requisitions are approved and converted to purchase orders in an efficient and timely manner
- Maintain and communicate the production plan to achieve and exceed on time delivery targets.
- Create and maintain jobs in line with the ERP system processes to ensure accurate WIP valuations and capacity planning.
- Identifies any upcoming capacity issues and work closely with the relevant members of the team to offer solutions to these issues.
- Provides accurate lead time information and sales order commitment dates in line with order acknowledgement KPIs.
- Monitors, analyses and reports on manufacturing data sets - including OTDP, inventory and schedule adherence.
- Delivers capacity plans in line with the S&OP process, ensuring resource, training, materials and equipment plans are in place.

- Production planning and scheduling experience
- Excel knowledge
- Relevant ERP knowledge
- Demonstrated proficiency of ERP systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office - particularly Excel
