We're now looking for a Gardens Editor to write amazing garden content for our market-leading homes website

**What you'll be doing**

As Gardens Editor at Ideal Home, you'll produce digital-first gardens content for the website that, where appropriate, you'll also deliver to the magazine. You'll work closely with the Editor in Chief and Deputy Editor to create best-in-class articles that give advice, ideas and information to our audience of homeowners and renters interested in making their outdoor space amazing.

Joining a successful and dynamic team, your role is to deliver organic and discover-friendly traffic growth for the section and to create industry-leading content that talks to gardeners of all kinds, from beginners with balconies to experienced green-thumbed gardeners with large gardens.

**Experience that will put you ahead of the curve**
- Experience in digital content creation, you need to be able to deliver top-flight articles on a consistent basis.
- Strong interest in and understanding of the homes and gardens sector.
- SEO expertise and a keen interest in and understanding of analytical tools, which you’ll use to inform your content.
- Adept at working across all media platforms.
- An eye for style - you’ll understand what makes a great image and know when you see a fantastic story for an audience who is passionate about homes and gardens.
- A strong contacts book, bursting with garden experts and industry contacts.
- A passion for pushing yourself - driving forward editorial and innovation so that your content is always improving.

The expected range for this role is £25,000 - £28,000.

This is a remote based role.
