**Who we are**

York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority (the CA) was formed in February 2024. We are led by the elected York and North Yorkshire Mayor, David Skaith and Cabinet which covers two local authority areas of York and North Yorkshire.

**The opportunity**

The pace at which CA is developing is significant; we continue to successfully develop and grow our position within the region, securing and managing a wide range of government and local agendas. This growth requires us to have the right people, in the right posts, at the right time. To this end, we are seeking to appoint 2 new Contracts and Relationships Officers to ensure we have a strong and flexible team to support the implementation of our work.

You’ll be part of a small multi-disciplinary analytical team. You’ll be closely working with colleagues both internally and externally to build and maintain relationships with adult skills providers and key stakeholders, and to assist with the development of the systems and processes required to analyse, interpret, and report on provider performance. Your role will have a specific focus on the contract management of Skills Bootcamp delivery.

**What you will bring**

To be successful you will have in depth knowledge of contracting documentation, systems and processes, and have a high level of analytical and IT skills sufficient to manipulate and create documents, spreadsheets and databases to interrogate and analyse data for performance measurement. Experience of working within strict education funding guidance is desirable.

**You will also possess.**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in disseminating information via written reports and presentations to a wide range of audiences in terms of both size and composition
- The ability to establish effective working relationships, both internally and with a range of external organisations.
