An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Learner Support and Faculty Development (LSFD) Team. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent administrative and organisational skills to support new and existing programmes within LSFD, enabling our educators to enhance the training and education of trainee doctors across the region.
A good working knowledge of Office365 including Outlook, SharePoint, and Excel, is essential. It is important that the postholder has excellent communication and relationship-building skills as they will be expected to liaise with internal and external stakeholders using various communication and engagement tools.
The role also requires the postholder to have a good working knowledge and experience of organising large events, as they wil be responsible for supporting the delivery of a range of conferences, meetings, and events associated with the various workstreams within the LSFD portfolio.
We are looking for a flexible team player, who can adapt their own workload to changing priorities, and who has the ability to support other team members through these changes.
The LSFD team are involved with a wide variety of workstreams, which will provide the postholder with opportunities to enhance and develop their knowledge and skills across a wide portfolio.
The postholder will work with the Programme Manager, the wider LSFD team, other HEE staff and faculty as well as internal and external stakeholders to provide senior administrative support to ensure the delivery of consistent services within LSFD, as aligned to HEEs Standard Operating Procedures.
The postholder will be responsible for a number of specific workstreams, as deemed appropriate by the Programme Manager, they will be expected to work independently, use their initiative and be responsible for management of their diary to ensure these functions are carried out within the required timescales.
The postholder will be part of a small team, working closely with the Programme Manager and Programme Administrator; as well as liaising with other staff members and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of workstreams provided by Learner Suport and Faculty Development.
Due to Covid-19, this role will operate on a working-from-home basis until further notice, all equipment required will be provided. Your formal office base will be Piccadilly Place in Manchester, however you may occasionally be required to travel across the North West region, once it is safe to do so.
