You'll be working for Gibbs and Dandy in Woking. Gibbs and Dandy is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK with over 500 branches; we've come a long way since opening our first store in 1836

You will be proactive, taking time to understand your customers. You'll also show resiliencewhen things don't go according to plan; being open to new ideas and you're happy to learn.
- Previous customer facing experience
- Ideally some knowledge and understanding of the building trade or builder's merchants
**Hours of work: Monday-Friday 7:30am-17:00pm and1 in 2Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm**
**What will I be doing in the role?**
Our Branch Assistants are really important to our success and a critical part of our customer's positive experience with us. You'll show resilience when things don't go according to plan; being open to new ideas and you're happy to learn. To support ourcustomers effectively you will;
- Serving customers on our trade counter
- Develop great relationships with new and existing Customers (both face to face and over the phone)
- Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
- Manual lifting products for our customers
- Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey
- Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
