**An Overview**

Founded in 2005, Footasylum has a proven track record in the inception of Own Brand labels in the UK and European markets. Brands such as Glorious Gangsta, KWD, Monterrain, Forena and Zavetti are notable examples.

Knowing of the opportunity that exists to grow the business' multicategory Own Brand proposition further, BrandASYLUM has been formed. This new business unit aims to increase this proposition's commerciality and brand legitimacy through targeted investment in strategy, people, and time. You will be the response for the lifecycle management of the Own Brands.

BrandASYLUM is a new addition to the Footasylum group, so the business unit requires you to have an entrepreneurial mindset and approach. You should have a firm understanding of best practices in the areas of expertise but have the agility in the process to adapt to the needs of the brands. As the pillars of Desirability, Visibility, and Accessibility are circular, collaboration and teamwork across the business unit will be crucial in the success of BrandASYLUM.

The role is varied and will include:
**Planning**
- Work with the wider BrandAsylum team to use lessons learnt to create a robust Direct to Consumer strategy for all Brands.
- Partner with the Merchandise management team to create a top line Quarterly strategy relating to The Direct-to-Consumer websites for all KPI’s and communicate to the core merchandise teams.
- Create Direct to Consumer seasonal markdown and promotional planning documents and collate proposals for review with Merchandise management team versus financial targets
- Communicate Quarterly / Seasonal plans to the relevant internal depts. within the wider business
- Ensure all deadlines are met in accordance with the Buying and Design Calendar
- Uplift all plans into a WSSI and manage the OTB / Phasing of stock to optimise profitability.

**Trading**
- Provide weekly summary of key performance indicators within departments of responsibility and the wider business, relating to sales, stock, profit, versus budget and last year.

Provide weekly trading actions to optimise department sales and margin.
- Key contact for all analysis relating to departments of responsibility
- Manage intake flow into business to hit monthly forecasts, drive sales and minimise risks and communicate to DC for short term workflow planning and longer-term budgeting
- Provide analysis and summary of Markdown and Promotional activity for departments of responsibility
- Interact with other internal teams to improve performance and drive best practices
- Key contact for merchandise reporting and all aspects of merchandising processes and system use

**Skills and Experience**
- Experience within a similar role, preferably in a fashion retail environment
- Good judgement and decision making skills
- Confidence in suggesting calculated risks
- Strong customer awareness and understanding
- Exceptionally organised, methodical and efficient.
