Job description:

- **Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer**:

- **Salary £41,000 per annum**:

- **Work pattern: Day shifts, 4 x 10 hour days (06:00 to 16:00), alternating weekly Monday to Thursday/ Tuesday to Friday**:

- **Based - Moreton (Wirral)**

We have an opportunity for a full time, permanent Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias, to work on our day shift within the Reliability Engineering Team.

The main purpose of the job is to provide engineering resource in carrying out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, refurbishment, installation, improvements and modifications or upgrade to plant and services in order to maximise plant performance andmaintain equipment to the required standard.

**What you will be doing**:

- Improving plant availabilty
- Carrying out all engineering work following Quality, Safety and hygiene standards
- Provide full technical engineering support to the production function
- To be involved in relevant projects
- To assist in the achievement of engineering KPI's
- Update CMMS software (SAP) appropriately
- Assist with the training of apprentices.

**What we need from you**:

- A formal electrical engineering qualification to at least City & Guilds level, NVQ level 3 or equivalent in electrical and mechanical discipline with corresponding practical experience
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
- Full understanding of safe working practices and relevant legislation
- Experience and of generic engineering equipment is essential; Rockwell Allen Bradley PLCs, electrical components and basic understanding of mechanical components
- Experience of techniques to maximise engineering reliability
- Must be able to understand engineering drawings, symbols and notation
