Are you a passionate Purchase Ledger Clerk? And looking for an exciting new role?

Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to work with their very well-established client based in Spalding.

The successful Purchase Ledger Clerk will have strong accounts experience and will be responsible for three core duties: Receipts, payments and billings. Furthermore, you will be tasked with processing account transactions, performing bank reconciliationsand ensuring full compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules as well as the following accountabilities:
**Principle Responsibilities for the Purchase Ledger Clerk**:

- Bank reconciliations daily and monthly reconcile of current accounts
- Credit Notes
- Anticipated disbursements - input
- All wip/disbursement transfers
- Costs transfers and report
- All write offs
- All cheque payments and dealing with out of date cheques
- Bank Run
- Purchase Ledger
- Recurring Entries
- HMLR invoices/Fuel card invoices/Infotel invoices/Mobile phone invoices
- Barclaycard Payments
- Trust Register - maintain
- All banking
- All BACS receipts
- Expenses
- Deposit Account opening and closures - monthly reconciliations
- Bank Registers - maintain
- PDQ and ePDQ receipts
- Interest Calculations - system and manual
- Salary & Pension postings
- Cheque log book checking
- Balance Petty Cash
- Checking of completion statements
- Input/Authorise electronic payments - both office, client and client trust accounts
- Scanning/Filing

**Person Specification for the Purchase Ledger Clerk**:

- Purchase Ledger experience in a professional setting
- AAT qualification preferable but not required
- Ability to read and interpret a client and office matter ledgers
- Strong numeracy skills
- Competent IT user, especially Excel, but also Word and Outlook.
- Ability to work in a fast moving, high volume data inputting environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Proactive approach to all work tasks with fantastic time management skills.
- Ability to prioritise and multitask tasks accordingly.

This is a full-time permanent position, offering an annual salary of up to £20,000.
