Finance Manager Location : Spalding Salary : Circa £50k + Benefits Take full ownership of a key finance function in a newly created leadership role. This is an opportunity to shape structure, drive improvement, and lead a large transactional finance team through meaningful change. Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll oversee teams covering Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control, Tax, and Treasury. Your focus will be on team performance, service delivery, and building a finance function that is accurate, efficient, and fit for purpose. This role is not about day-to-day processing; it's about people, process, and performance. You'll unite the team around clear expectations, implement consistent standards, and lead the rollout of better systems and smarter reporting. Key responsibilities Leading and developing the transactional finance teams across multiple disciplines Designing and embedding standardised processes and service levels Overseeing accurate supplier payments, cash forecasting, and customer account management Managing team performance through KPIs and structured reporting Reviewing and improving automation processes Ensuring seamless intercompany reporting and timely month-end delivery Managing internal audits and providing data for external stakeholders including HMRC and auditors Supporting finance projects and acting as deputy to the Finance Director Ensuring compliance reporting is accurate and queries are resolved promptly What they're looking for Experienced finance manager with a strong background in leading large teams Track record of leading change, improving processes, and driving systems adoption Strong communicator who builds trust, sets structure, and brings teams together Commercially minded, detail‑aware, and able to influence at all levels Confident managing through complexity and delivering consistent results Why this role?
