Stock Control Team Leader

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Stock Control Team Leader to join this world class FMCG manufacturer.
OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS
- 50% on-site and 50% working from home.
- Rotating shifts every fortnight:
- Weeks 1 & 2 - Mon to Thur 8am to 4pm. Fri 8am to 3pm
- Weeks 3 & 4 - Mon to Thur 9am to 5pm. Fri 9am to 4pm
THE STOCK CONTROL TEAM LEADER
Key Responsibilities will include:
- To manage our client's stock at the 3PL's.
- To ensure that stock systems are managed, updated and accurate.
- To work with 3PL's to ensure the accuracy, integrity and any legal compliance of stock and levels is maintained at all times. Investigate all differences in a timely manner and follow through to resolve the differences.
- To continually challenge the operation to drive continuous improvement, minimum stock levels and availability of all our client's products both in house, domestic and export markets.
- To assist their direct reports with day-to-day issues and engage in regular one to one's.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We need someone who is already an experienced Stock Controller with good levels of SAP, and ideally previous management experience. On top of this you will need:
- Operational experience from a Warehouse & Distribution background
- Experience of liaising with internal and external customers to drive performance
- Driving change within a Stock Control role to improve efficiencies
- Experience of working in a Stock Control role within an FMCG environment
