- then look no further as Church & Dwight UK Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a permanent UK Stock Control Team leader based in Folkestone, Kent.
The UK Stock Control Team leader is responsible for inventory management of Church & Dwight’s inventory across our UK based 3PLs. The role works closely with one direct report to ensure accuracy, integrity and legal compliance of stock levels is maintained at all times, investigating differences in a timely manner.
The Team Leader will continually challenge the operations teams to drive continuous improvement, minimum stock levels and availability of all Church and Dwight products both in house, domestic and export markets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Stock Management_- To ensure all stocks are recorded accurately on SAP, carrying out investigations of stock discrepancies and making corrections as required following through investigations with other departments.- Daily / monthly stock reconciliations to be carried out, investigate all differences and work with relevant areas through to resolution.- Carry out Perpetual Inventory and Cyclical counts using results to challenge all departments and 3rd Party Warehouses and setting SLA’s.- Checking of non-physical storage areas in SAP to ensure that everything is accounted for at every month/year end (916,922 subcontracting vendors, sloc 0011 etc.) and if any stock is showing to resolve with relevant departments.- Warehouse pallet reports and KPI’s
- Communication_- To liaise with all departments to ensure that the correct stock and quantities are in the right place at the right time, and with the planning and sales team to keep everybody aware of stock availability.
- External 3rd Party Suppliers_- To establish monthly KPI reviews and quarterly visits to other 3rd party logistics provider, to provide assurance that stock control is accurate, and deliveries and perpetual inventory are being performed in an appropriate manner.- Carry out quarterly mock recalls.- Review any stock issues with comparison reports and investigate reasons, Inbound manifest speed and accuracy of turnaround.- Booking on all goods receipts onto SAP ensuring alignment with 3PL- GDP awareness- Have significant experience in logistics via 3PLs- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to develop internal & external customer relationships to a senior level.- Be an experienced team leader, with a good track record of developing team members- Be a SAP Super-User- Have strong commercial awareness- Have a good understanding of business processes essential- Be digitally competent and confident- Have good numeracy skills- Be GDP trained
