Grafton Banks Finance are supporting a chartered accountancy firm with offices based in Eastbourne. Our client is seeking an experienced **Client Bookkeeper** on a permanent basis; this role will be responsible for bookkeeping across a portfolio of client accounts.

Main duties:

- Providing a bookkeeping service in house for clients of the firm including processing and maintaining purchase ledger, sales ledger and nominal ledger.
- Bank Reconciliations
- Preparation of VAT returns

Desired skills & experience:

- AAT or relevant bookkeeping qualification
- 1-2 years minimum experience (recent) working in an accountancy practice within a similar role.
- Working knowledge of using accountancy systems such as Sage, Iris, QuickBooks or Xero.
