This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper or Junior Accountant seeking a step up into a Senior Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant position within a supportive, growing practice. Role About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper to join our client’s finance team. This is a part-time position, working approximately 24 hours per week across four days (Monday to Thursday).The role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working with numbers, has strong accounting skills, and can manage financial records accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, assisting in the preparation of financial reports, and supporting the wider finance department to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company Responsibilities Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Process invoices, receipts, payments, and complete bank reconciliations Prepare and post journal entries Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax filings Support the preparation of management reports and financial statements Liaise with external accountants and auditors when required Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards #J-18808-Ljbffr
