We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a thriving, growing, well-established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Rochester, Kent.

This firm is continually growing, and they are eager to recruit some new talent to help service their amazing clients. They assist their clients with a range of accountancy matters from Audit, Tax and Accounts to Bookkeeping and Payroll.

This single-site firm has over 60 staff and a diverse team, who can support you throughout your career journey and ensure you gain experience to progress within your role.

Key responsibilities:

- Processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Maintain accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, daily financial entries, and reconciliations.
- Banking, payments, and allocation of cash flow.
- Maintain sales ledger, purchase ledger, and credit control.
- Preferably AAT qualified.
- 3+ year’s Practice Bookkeeping experience.
- Confidence liaising with clients over various Bookkeeping matters.

Additional information:

- Salary from £23,000 p/a to £28,000 p/a.
- Part-time conditions may be considered.
