An opportunity has arisen to take a key team lead role within the Platform Infrastructure team

reporting to the Cloud, Storage & Platform Infrastructure Manager.

The Platform Infrastructure Team Lead will provide guidance and leadership to a team of infrastructure engineers geographically dispersed throughout the UK and encompasses creating and maintaining a high-performance team environment, ensuring Platform Infrastructure is highly available and resilient as well as driving service excellence through continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Manage team skills in line with product development strategy, vendor hardware and software lifecycles and client demand
- Responsibility for the availability and performance of Pulsant Platform Infrastructure
- Risk management of Platform Infrastructure and compliance with Pulsant Operational Risk Processes
- Manage key vendor/partner relationships inc BaaS
- Manage key stakeholder relationships inc Pulsant Service & Account Management to orchestrate engineers to resolve any support and/or technical issues encountered with clients.
- Ensure any incidents are categorised and triaged to Pulsant SLA/OLA
- Orchestrate product/platform lifecycle management in line with Cyber Security and CVE’s.
- Responsible for successful design, planning and execution of infrastructure change, inline with ITIL Change Management framework.

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience of team leader role or similar
- Demonstrable experience in management disciplines such as performance management, capacity planning, operational management
- Managing technical delivery in a highly available environment
- Delivering process improvement and change with measurable outcomes
- Demonstrable experience of working in a managed service provider environment.
- Solid understanding of networking/storage protocols
- DNS, infrastructure monitoring solutions, Tenable vulnerability management
- Experience of Security Suites
- Demonstrable experience with guest OS security hardening practices
- Experience of type 1, type 2 hypervisors.
- Linux hosting and commonly used packages
- Windows architecture and associated Active Directory Domain Services
