As a Barclays Technical Delivery Manager (TDM), you will act as the gatekeeper to all new work coming into the team, while accountable for managing the end-to-end journey. Working with the Development and Test team you will see the requirements take shapeand support to plan in the work, removing any blockers to delivery along the way.

**Hybrid Working**
We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern optionsfor the role with the hiring manager.
**What will you be doing?**:

- Understanding of requirements from Project Managers to be able to impact assess the work with the design, development and testing teams
- Planning and coordinating activities related to the design, development, testing and deployment of a monthly/quarterly releases into production
- Working with the Product Delivery Manager, other TDMs and wider team for the planning of a release, and ensuring this is communicated
- Overseeing the technical delivery of the development and test, ensuring dependencies have been met and supporting to remove blockers which arise
- Tracking budget for releases, providing resource forecasts to Project Managers
- Actively ensuring that all governance, risk policies, procedures and compliance policies (Change process etc.), are adhered to
- Raising of Change requests for releases into production and seeking buy in and approvals from Run the Bank teams
- Actively ensuring correct reporting of the project/ release status to all stakeholders
**What we're looking for**:

- Experience in working in delivery and/or implementations with many teams delivering code across multiple areas
- Previous experience working in an IT environment and software development lifecycle
- Experience of tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience of full Microsoft Office suite
**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Knowledge of software development (SDLC) methodologies, e.g. Waterfall, Agile
- Awareness of leading-edge tools, techniques and services within IT
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, e.g. RUP, CMMi, Prince II, PMI (not essential)
- Solid communication skills with an ability to build and maintain relationships
**Where will you be working?**
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64-acre self-contained site, in a beautiful greenenvironment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play.
