I am looking for Warehouse Operatives/Yard Operatives on a Permanent basis for my client based in Shefford. This role is a fantastic opportunity for the right person.

Purpose of the role
1.To work in a team to pick and dispatch orders to customers to a high
quality standard.
2.To adhere to health and safety requirements at all times.
3. Position in the company (organisational structure)
4. Reports to the Warehouse Team Leader
5. Replacement in case of absence

Main tasks
1.To pick and stack orders ready for despatch
2.To load and unload incoming and outgoing vehicles
3.To supply production with raw materials
4.To book transport for goods leaving the site
5.Assisting in stock takes
6.Working with a WMS system
7.To check incoming components and process the relevant paperwork
8.Daily housekeeping duties9.
9. To be able to assist in customer queries

Additional tasks
1. Assisting all departments when needed
2. Authorities, responsibilities
3 Responsible for picking orders correctly
4. Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
5.Loading and unloading in a safe and efficient manner

Communication
1.External:Outside customers
2. Internal: Team leader and all departments
3. Counterbalance Fork truck license
4.Good numeracy and literacy
5.Experience of warehouse and logistics

Knowledge
1. Basic problem solving
2.Good product knowledge
3.Basic computer knowledge
