Softs and Agricultural Commodities Trader on Commodity Derivatives desk reporting to Head of Agriculture Trading. The Agriculture Desk at Citi provides a key Role in enabling Market Participants to hedge exposure arising from their ongoing business activities. Citi offers various solutions in the physical and financial space for clients to mitigate risk and ultimately reduce Price uncertainty for Consumers and Producers. The role will be located on the Commodities Trading desk within the Commodity Investor Products Desk. **Qualifications**: - 1-5 years’ experience on a Flow / Option book, respective payoffs and pricers. - Coding (VBA /Python) an advantage but not a prerequisite - Financial market spreadsheet skills required. - Demonstrates knowledge of derivatives and competent in pricing of Options or Linear payoffs - Coding an advantage but not a prerequisite - Required licensing and registrations as applicable - Exceptional analytical and numerical competency - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication - Effective interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders **Education**: - Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience Under the guidance provided by the FCA and PRA, firms should have regard to the following when assessing fitness and propriety: - Honesty, integrity and reputation - Financial soundness - Competence and capability In order to comply with the requirements of the Certification Regime, certain Citi entities must take reasonable care to ensure that an employee does not perform a Certified Role without first being certified as Fit and Proper. For this reason, you will be assessed for this role against the Fit and Proper requirements, as described above. This assessment will be carried out through extensive interviews, self-disclosures, permitted criminal record checks, reference checks, credit checks and other background checks.
