Position Overview:
Situated within the financial hub of London, this role demands a meticulous and dynamic individual to serve as the Junior Commodity Trader Assistant. In this capacity, you will collaborate with seasoned professionals, gaining invaluable experience in navigating the complexities of commodities trading within a highly competitive market.

**Responsibilities**:
Collaborate seamlessly with senior traders to execute strategic trades and proficiently manage positions within the commodities market.
Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis, identifying key trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
Stay abreast of market data, analysing real-time news and events that influence commodity prices.
Work closely with the trading team to conceptualise, refine, and implement effective trading strategies.
Maintain meticulous records of trades, positions, and performance metrics.
Provide essential administrative support to ensure the fluidity of trading operations.

Qualifications:
Hold a degree in finance, economics, or a related field, reflecting a solid academic foundation.
Demonstrate an inherent passion for commodities trading and possess a deep understanding of financial markets.
Exhibit superior analytical and quantitative skills, coupled with effective communication abilities suitable for a fast-paced environment.
Possess proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other tools essential for the role.
While not mandatory, any prior internship or trading experience will be considered a notable asset.
