Customer Service Assistant

About the role
Working within a small team as a Customer Service Assistant, you'll provide aftercare support to 'Business to Business' (B2B) customers using our Direct Delivered service.

There will be day to day contact with internal and external customers providing a varied and stimulating working environment with no two days the same.

You will be responsible for
- Understanding customers’ requirements, and offering timely responses,
- Recording and managing customer enquiries through the Customer Service ticketing system,
- Liaising with the broader team and other departments to solve problems,
- Arranging electronic refunds,
- Handling and solving Customer Complaints,
- Running and issuing weekly reports to relevant personnel,
- Working as part of the team in the development and activities that help in the growth of the direct channel and improving customer satisfaction.

You will need
- Excellent communication and people skills, with a polite and confident manner,
- To have a good understanding of Customer Service Principles, preferably in a B2B environment,
- Have good attention to detail, in particular with spelling and grammar,
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word),
- Forward thinking & proactive attitude to problem solving,
- Self-motivated as well as be flexible to the requirements of the role,
- Ability to work well under pressure and cross-functionally.
