We have an exciting opportunity for an office administrator and Sales Support Co-Ordinator to join a small but growing team in a busy sales department. We are looking for a self-motivated resilient individual to provide our customers with first class customer service and to support our Sales Accounts Managers with all sales order processing. You will be communicating with our customers in a relaxed and professional way and liaising with our purchasing team ensuring an outstanding experience for our customers. Excellent communication skills both in writing and on the phone, together with exceptional attention to detail, will make you successful in this role.
This role is based at our premises in Hemel Hempstead, we operate Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm. This role is full time at 37.5 hours per week, however, flexible start and finish times can be arranged.
**Main purpose of job**:
- To answer incoming telephone calls in a prompt and professional manner, resolving any queries quickly and effectively or ensuring delegation to the appropriate person
- Processing of sales order and preparing quotes on SAP operating system, proactively creating daily reports to track orders to ensure customers and Sales Account Managers are continuously kept up to date
- Liaising with Purchasing Co-ordinator for purchase orders to suppliers and monitoring delivery timescales
- Sending payment links to customers, ensuring timeliness and accuracy, and releasing orders once payment is received
- Liaising with our on-site warehouse on orders received, locating orders in the warehouse arranging for customers to collect, ensuring a smooth handover for our customers
- Booking meetings, accommodation, travel etc for team members
- Taking turns in carrying out health and safety floor walks to ensure a safe and tidy working environment
- Undertaking any ad-hoc sales support, projects or tasks as directed by management

- 1+ years’ experience in Sales Order Processing
- Some experience of SAP is useful but not necessary
