**Job Role**:Asset Management Inspector

**Location: Hybrid role, Newcastle to Birmingham, attend monthly meetings at our Worcester office**

**Hours: Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)**

**Up to £24,000 per annum plus car allowance**

As a Property Inspector you will be contributing to Mainstay’s vision as the market leading provider of services to the UK’s property sector. Mainstay is a professional services organisation, that delivers business expertise and services across the property industry.

This role reports to the Asset Management Team Leader.

**Main Responsibilities**
- In conjunction with the Team Leader, to plan and assist in coordination to ensure each separate property is visited and inspected in line with a specified template and format, at least once in every three years.
- During site visits consider potential opportunities for enhanced service provision and customer experience and potential additional income opportunities for the client.
- In conjunction with the Asset Managers; to review Managing Agent performance ensuring all assets are maintained safely and diligently in line with client Asset Management Policy to the benefit of all stakeholders.
- To support Asset Management activity on other funds/portfolios as required.

**Skills and Experience**
- At least two years' experience working within Asset/Property Management environment.
- Hands on delivery of all aspects of Health & Safety legislation in relation to asset management.
- Ability to read and accurately interpret site land registry title plans.
- Full Driving Licence
- Experience of communicating with external and internal customers.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Keen to take responsibility and use initiative
- Customer focused and able to produce work of a consistently high standard
- Effective communicator, who enjoys contact with internal and external customers

**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordination and undertaking of site visits on the client portfolio
- Identify additional fund income streams
- Identify income opportunities for Mainstay through enhanced service provision.
