**Job Title**:Transport Assistant

**Salary**:£12.00 per hour

**Contract**: 16 hr contract, plus overtime if available

**Hours**: You must be fully flexible to cover days, nights and weekends

Assured Transport is a unique Organisation which provides a wide range of humanistic and caring services to children, young people and the elderly.

**Key Requirements for this role**:

- Full clean, UK driving licence for at lest 2 years
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to work at short notice
- Able to work on shifts at various hours
- You must be able to attend the head office (Telford) within one hour during on-call shifts
- PHV licence *preferred not essential

**This post will require you to have an enhanced DBS check.**

**As a Transport Officer you will be required**:

- To provide a professional and caring service for all of our service users whilst in the care of Assured Transport, ensuring that service users safety remains priority and that safety processes are adhered to.
- To support and transport vulnerable people
- To ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed according to Assured Transport current policies and procedures.
- To ensure that restraint training is applied correctly should an incident occur, and restraint is required.
- To in the event of an incident, you may be required to administer first aid as per your training.
- To ensure that statutory regulations and Assured Transport policies and procedures are always implemented and adhered to.
- To work to the values of the organisation and display high standards of integrity and professionalism towards the young people and colleagues
- To undertake any other duties relevant to the post as may be assigned from time to time.
