Working closely with the Head of People and Divisional People Team, the People Advisor will provide partnership and leadership on all aspects of HR across THG Ingenuity. You will develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships, ensuring an excellent standard of HR partnering is given at all times. This post requires a dynamic, adaptable and resilient HR professional who can operate in a fast paced, high change environment, working with stakeholders to drive forward people initiatives across the division.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities as a Senior People Advisor**:

- Coaching and influencing management teams.
- Supporting on the delivery of strategic people initiatives as part of our people strategy.
- Identify people issues and autonomously implement effective solutions.
- Identify and tackle challenges with a people first approach and problem solving mindset.
- Interpret and utilise people data to identify issues within business area and drive forward effective solutions
- Passionate about continuous improvement, striving for everything we do to be the best it can be.
- Strong understanding of remuneration activity across your business area and ability to meet all required business needs in relation to pay review and bonus submissions, including any other relative activity.
- Employee Relations_
- Overarching ownership for the successful end to end conclusion on ER cases across designated business areas including absence, family leave, flexible working, performance management, grievance and disciplinary processes.
- Escalate all high-risk cases to Head of People.
- Support employees and managers with advice and guidance throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Champion the development of people management skills through coaching management teams.
- Continuously strive for making improvements to drive forward best practice HR
- Engagement_
- Drive forward engagement activity across your business area, including presence at any engagement events & Community meetings, and work with relevant stakeholders to drive forward initiatives and activity throughout the year.
- Suggest & implement people initiatives across the division to drive engagement.
- Review New Starter Surveys, Exit interviews, Engagement Surveys etc to identify where we need to make improvements and make recommendations to SLT and ensure they drive forward.
- People Data _
- Provide management and Senior Leadership Teams with accurate analysed and requested reports using the HR system where required. These requests can often be at short notice and need to be done quickly and prioritised.
- Spot areas of improvement in internal processes and drive change.
- Stakeholder Management & People Strategy_
- Provide accurate data and insights to senior leads and support on people updates to leadership teams
- Ability to build strong relationships and drive forward people team credibility.
- Partner with wider People Team on the creation and delivery of the people strategy in line with divisional and subdivisional objectives.
- Performance & Talent Management_
- A thorough understanding of your talent base across designated business area including top talent & underperformance
- Understanding of roles and responsibilities and implementation of Talent plans across business area, helping to support continuous development.
- Foster a learning culture, partnering with leaders and L&D to understand and implement development programmes.
- Change Management_
- Support on process improvement projects in line with business requirements and strategy
- Support on change management and organisational design projects. Partner with the leaders and managers in your area to continue to future-proof your functional areas, anticipating and managing any change elements.

**What Skills and Experience Do I Need?**
- 2+ years' experience in a HR Advisory position
- CIPD Level 5 (desirable)
- Good understanding of employment legislation and law
- Experience in employee relations / HR casework
- Ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and ability to coach and advise in a professional manner
- Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
