**Job Title: Children’s Care Practitioner**
**Salary: Up to £26,500.00 per annum, including annual sleep in allowance and dependant on experience plus welcome bonus of £200 - £300 and *another £200 - £300 once you pass your probation (minimum six months)**
**Location: Red Lake, Telford**
**Hours: 40 hours per week - 2 days on, 4 days off shift pattern**
**Essential: A full driving licence, and the Right to Work in the UK**

Acorn Education and Care, are recruiting Children Care Practitioners to join our teams within the Telford Region. Our registered independent homes offer residential care for vulnerable children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)and Complex Needs.
The homes are **based in Telford region,**and are within commutable distance from Nantwich, Whitchurch, Telford, Shifnal and surrounds
**Who we are looking for**:
- People with a big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives
- Understanding that the people we care for can be challenging
- Be patient, resilient and calming
- Become the “go to” person for help, support and guidance with their everyday needs
- Willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Children’s Residential Care, by working towards a **funded qualification in Level 4 Apprenticeship for Children Young People and Families Practitioner**(if you do not currently hold this or equivalent)
